My Approach

It's the little moments that inspire me. The little, simple details. I want you to feel like yourself during the shoot, and when you are looking at the pictures afterwards. That is why I don't do a whole lot of posing. During the session, you might feel more like you're acting in a movie scene. I will direct you with prompts and let you react to them in whatever way feels comfortable to you. Your photos should look natural and authentic to you!

Day in the Life

STARTING AT $200

What's included...

A "day in the life" session is meant to document the small, real-life moments that are so easy to forget. This could look like making breakfast as a family, going apple picking, having a picnic outside, cozying up together and playing the guitar, etc.

  • This is a mainly unposed session, however, I will help guide you occasionally.
  • A "Day in the Life" session can be combined with one of the other sessions to allow for some posing prompts.
  • 50-100 edited images
  • 1-2 hour coverage
  • Online Digital Downloadable Gallery

The Process

STEP ONE

Connection

First, let's get to know each other! Tell me about your story. Growing up, I loved listening to my grandparents tell stories about themselves. It also helps me to get an idea of who you are to be able to cater the session to you. The more details, the better!

STEP TWO

Collaboration

Tell me about your vision for the shoot. How do you want to feel when you look back at your photos? Send me any inspiration you have.

STEP THREE

Booking

Once we have figured out a date and time for the session, I will send out contracts for you to sign so we are on the same page. I will then send you a complementary outfit guide to help you as you prepare for the session. I will check in with you a couple times before the shoot to answer any questions you may have!

STEP FOUR

The Shoot

Depending on how you want the shoot to feel, I will either give prompts or directions. I want this process to feel as natural as possible. This isn't about "looking perfect". You can just forget I'm there!

STEP FIVE

On the Backend

After the shoot, I will edit your photos within two weeks. I will send your photos out in a gallery where you can either download the images you like, or download the entire gallery.
